A tipped-over dump truck closed a stretch of Veterans Memorial Highway in Ronkonkoma Monday for four hours, Suffolk Police said.
Christopher Toomey, 37, of West Babylon, was carrying too heavy a load when his 2006 Kenworth dump truck toppled over while he attempted to make a right turn from Ninth Avenue onto Veterans Memorial Highway, police said.
