Nassau District Attorney Kathleen Rice took a line out Hillary Clinton's playbook Sunday night and announced that she's running for state attorney general via a YouTube video posted to her website.

Clinton, you'll remember, announced her candidacy for the Democratic nomination for president in January 2007 on her website.

Rice joins Suffolk County Executive Steve Levy as a Long Islander running for statewide office this year. Levy is eyeing the GOP nod for governor.
