Eastern Suffolk BOCES students celebrate MLK

In honor of civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr., about 110 students at Eastern Suffolk BOCES Premm Learning Center in Oakdale participated in a ceremony in which they learned about his legacy as well as the importance of kindness, community and friendship through exploring their own acts of kindness. They also sang along to Michael Jackson's "Heal the World" and witnessed the release of three live doves. (Jan. 17, 2014)
