Farmingdale Field of Honor

To honor local veterans, the Kiwanis Club of Farmingdale erected nearly 200 flags in the lawn of the Farmingdale Public Library, each one purchased in the name of a veteran. The unveiling of the project coincided with a ceremony featuring performances by students inside the library. The flags are on display until they are be retired on Dec. 7.
