With heavy rains expected to hit Long Island this weekend, some St. Patrick’s Day festivities are being put on hold. But while some have postponed plans, others say their events will go on, storm or no storm.

Here’s a brief rundown:

*Westhampton Beach has postponed its St. Patrick's Day parade, scheduled for Saturday, to March 27.

*In Bay Shore, organizers will hold their parade Saturday afternoon at 2, rain or shine.

*The Bayport-Blue Point parade is still scheduled for Sunday. It'll go one unless there's a hurricane warning.

*Huntington will also hold its parade Sunday at 2 p.m., rain or shine.

The National Weather Service expects rain on Friday and a heavy downpour and high winds on Saturday in Nassau and Suffolk. The rain will likely continue through Sunday.
