Kings Park Fire Department celebrates 100 years

Kings Park Fire Department will celebrate 100 years of community service on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013.

Kings Park Volunteer Fire Department at the Saint Johnland Barn fire in the late 1960s. Most of the water used to fight the fire was drafted from a nearby pond. The barn was built in the late 1800s when St. Johnland maintained a farming community.
