$4.6 million to aid Nassau emergency readiness

Nassau will receive nearly $4.6 million in grants from the state Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services to prepare for the possibility of catastrophic or terroristic events, County Executive Edward Mangano announced Wednesday.
