'Active shooter' seminar at Adelphi to discuss Sandy Hook

Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano has announced a new “active shooter” seminar to be held Friday at 9 a.m. at Adelphi University.

“This new seminar is due to an overwhelming response to the briefing held at the university on Jan. 7, and in continuation of Police Commissioner Thomas Dale’s ongoing effort to address possible ‘active shooter’ scenarios in Nassau County,” Mangano said.
