Alzheimer’s group to host food tasting
In an effort to raise awareness of its programs, the Long Island Alzheimer’s Foundation is hosting a free food tasting event Thursday.
“A Taste of the Town” allows participants to sample food from various North Hempstead restaurants. More than 20 restaurants are taking part, representing several different types of cuisine, including Continental, Mediterranean, Italian, Latin and Japanese....
