Attorney Paul Damato to join Smithtown planning board

The Smithtown Town Board today is set to name a local attorney to the town planning board. Paul Damato would replace Carl Yellon, who resigned late last year, Councilman Thomas McCarthy said Monday. Damato’s appointment is expected to become official when the town board meets at 2 p.m. today at Town Hall, 99 W. Main St.
