Deer-hunting figures released in Suffolk

Preliminary figures on the special state shotgun deer hunting season in January show that 147 deer were taken on state-controlled properties in Brookhaven, Riverhead and Southampton this year, compared to 131 in 2012 and 149 in 2011.
