Department of Environmental Conservation to hold workshop for science teachers

To help science teachers go green, the state Department of Environmental Conservation will hold a training workshop Feb. 1 at Stony Brook University.
The workshop was rescheduled from November because of superstorm Sandy.
The goal of the workshop, which is aimed at high school teachers, is to train educators how to teach students about eco-friendly practices — by using eco-friendly practices.
