Food drive in Huntington for Sandy victims
Huntington Town Councilman Mark Mayoka is sponsoring a food drive to help residents still struggling after superstorm Sandy and the nor’easter that followed.
Residents can drop off nonperishable food items at a bin in the main lobby of Town Hall, 100 Main St., starting Monday through Jan. 31.
There are also bins in the lobby for The Marine Corps Toys for Tots Program and The Tri-CYA/Family Service League which are collecting unwrapped toys.
