Singer Robert Davi will perform Frank Sinatra classics at a free concert presented by Nassau County on Friday, Aug. 30, at 7 p.m. at the Harry Chapin Lakeside Theater in Eisenhower Park.
Davi, who also is an actor, was hand-picked by Sinatra to play Mickey Sinardos in the 1977 NBC television drama “Contract on Cherry Street.” Davi also has worked with some of the biggest names in Hollywood, including Marlon Brando, Clint Eastwood, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Josh Brolin, Bruce Willis and James Franco. Davi appeared in such movies as “Die Hard,” “Showgirls,” “The Goonies,” and the James Bond movie “License to Kill.”
Davi also starred in the NBC television series “Profiler” and continued with “Stargate: Atlantis” and, most recently, “Criminal Minds.”
Davi’s album “Davi Sings Sinatra: On the Road to Romance” was released in October 2011.
