Free child safety seat inspections will be offered March 16.

The event sponsored by the New York State Police and state Sen. Charles Fuschillo Jr. (R-Merrick) will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the State Police Troop L Headquarters at 7140 Republic Airport, just off Route 110, in East Farmingdale.

State Police officers will ensure children’s car seats are properly installed and secured.
