Free KidPix IDs in Massapequa Park

A free KidPix photo ID program will be held Wednesday.

The event sponsored by State Sen. Charles Fuschillo Jr. (R-Merrick) and Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano will be held from noon to 3 p.m. at the Massapequa Public Library’s Bar Harbour Building at 40 Harbor La.

Participating families will receive a wallet-sized ID card that includes the child’s name, physical description, contact information and photograph. The child’s fingerprint is also included on the back of the card. If a child is missing, parents can give the card to law enforcement officials.

The cards are processed at the event. Families will be served on a first-come, first-served basis with no appointments required.
