Hempstead library to host forum in foreclosure fight

Hempstead Village plans to host a forum on preventing home foreclosure on Monday that will be open to all village residents.

The “Foreclosures and Your Options” workshop will be held at the Hempstead Public Library, 115 Nichols Ct., at 6 p.m. The event is presented by the village board, the Society for Financial Awareness, and SafeGuard Credit Counseling Services. Spanish-English translators...
