Huntington sets scofflaw amnesty for April

Parking scofflaws, here’s your chance to make it right. The town of Huntington has designated April as Parking Ticket Amnesty Month.
From April 1 to April 30, town officials are hoping to recoup about $625,000 in outstanding fines and penalties motorists incurred dating back to Jan. 1, 2005. Those who take advantage of the amnesty will have to pay 60 percent of the total amount owed.
