Islip reappoints airport consultant

The Islip Town Board has voted to appoint a retired NYPD officer as a consultant on security at Long Island MacArthur Airport.
Thomas J. Coffey worked as a police officer and a union delegate in Midtown South Precinct for 20 years before retiring in 2010.
