Long Beach class gets $25G in supplies from TV show
REAL Change producer Liam Murphy gives back to the high school by filming a nationally televised video segment for CBS, which will air April 23 at 7 p.m. Office Depot will donate school supplies and tablets, most of which were affected by superstorm Sandy. TV producer Liam Murphy spent the past several years signing up celebrities from Justin Bieber to Lady Antebellum for a CBS special, “Real Change -- Artists for Education,” that would celebrate teachers and bring needed supplies to their schools. On Monday, the 35-year-old had one final stop to make before wrapping up: Long Beach, his hometown.
