Long Beach’s Long Island Rail Road station parking garage permits will go on sale Monday.

The annual permits expire June 30 and are available for purchase in the city clerk’s office on the third floor of City Hall.

Permits cost $250 for city residents and $300 for nonresidents and are valid from July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013. They can be purchased in person with cash or credit card.

Residents need to bring a copy of their car’s registration.

The city clerk will hold extended hours on three Wednesdays in June to accommodate commuters. The office will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 13, and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on June 20 and June 27. Normal office hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Hours scale back to 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. after July 1.

Residents can also pay via mail with a check; permits will be mailed after seven business days. Residents who pay by check must also send copies of their car registration, driver’s license, and a self-addressed stamped envelope, city officials said.

City Hall is located at One West Chester St. Residents who pay by check can mail to City Clerk — LIRR, One West Chester Street, Long Beach, NY 11561.
