The Suffolk County police Second Precinct is seeking help to identify and locate the man who allegedly stole baby formula from a Huntington Station store last month.

A man entered Rite Aid, at 283 West Jericho Tpke., on March 29 at 5:35 p.m. and stole more than $90 worth of baby formula.

He is described as approximately 5-foot-8 and 180 pounds and was seen wearing black pants, black shoes and a red sweater or jacket. He fled west on Jericho Turnpike in a gray two-door Chevrolet.

Those with information can call 800-220-TIPS (8477).


There is construction work taking place on the Northern State Parkway eastbound between Routes 106/107 (Exit 35) and the LIE in Nassau. There is stop-and-go traffic from Brush Hollow Road.


Skies will be overcast all day, with a high of 66 and winds coming from the west at 10 to 15 mph. Tonight will be overcast with a 90 percent chance of rain and a low of 43. On Saturday skies will go from partly cloudy to overcast, with a high of 63. Saturday night's forecast calls for clear skies and a low of 39.
