Nassau County police  and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public's help in  locating the suspect pictured above. Police say the man is wanted in connection with a burglary that occurred between 7 p.m. on March 15 and 9 a.m. on March 16 at Oceanside Iron and Supply on Hampton Road in Oceanside.

Crime Stoppers is asking anyone who knows the whereabouts of the subject to call its toll free hotline: 1-800-244-TIPS (8477), and offering a reward of up to $5,000. All calls will be kept confidential.


The Suffolk County Water Authority is working to repair a water main break in Islip on Smith Street that impacts about 44 residences, according to the utility's website. Residents in the affected area may experience no water service, low water pressure and discolored water for a period of time.


ZONING CHANGE. The Smithtown Town Planning Board will meeting tonight at 8 at the Eugene A. Cannataro Senior Center, 420 Middle Country Rd.,  to consider an application to rezone about 21 acres on Old Northport Road from light industrial to residential single family. Look for Lauren R.
