Looking at the weekend, Saturday is the better day weather-wise, with a forecast of clear skies and a high of about 80. Sunday, it'll again be around 80 but with a chance of thunderstorms.

PROTESTERS BLOCK GARBAGE TRUCKS 

State Assemblyman Phil Ramos and members of the New York Communities for Change created a human chain outside a garbage facility in Brentwood for 45 minutes to block the flow of trucks carrying garbage from the East End of Long Island into the town.

The group blocked the intersection of Suffolk Avenue and Eisenhower Avenue from about 12:30 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. 

WANTED

Suffolk County police are looking for an unidentified man and woman who allegedly stole a Shark upright vacuum cleaner from the Target in Medford. The robbery occurred on June 9 at around 3:50 p.m.
