TOWN BEACH PROJECTS. The Southampton Town Board met this afternoon. The board looked at beach nourishment projects in Sagaponack and Bridgehampton, and increasing fines for violators found guilty of harming beaches and waterways. LI TEACHER ON 'LIVE.' ABC's "LIVE with Kelly and Michael" welcomed Great Neck South High School teacher John Motchkavitz on today's show. Motchkavitz is a finalist in LIVE's 2014 Top Teacher Contest. Hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan presented Motchkavitz with a trophy on air, but also surprised him with a weeklong cruise to Alaska, and for his school, 30 Dell Latitude tablets.
