Although we had clear skies today with a high of 27 degrees and a low tonight of 16, tomorrow could bring more snow. Another major winter storm is expected to drop a mix of snow and rain on Long Island. A winter storm watch is in effect for Long Island from midnight Wednesday to 6 a.m. Friday, telling of a potential 4 to 8 inches of snow, the National Weather Service said.
GLEN COVE CONSIDERS BENEFITS REQUIREMENTS: The Glen Cove City Council tonight will discuss health insurance benefits, including establishing minimum service requirements for future employees and retirees and the share of premiums that future retirees would pay.
