Lottery for free bike lockers at Bellmore train station

Hempstead Town officials will hold a lottery for eight new bicycle lockers at the Long Island Rail Road train station in Bellmore.

Residents interested in receiving a no-cost one-year bike locker lease must submit an entry form to the Town Clerk’s Office by 4 p.m. Monday.

Each of the bike lockers, provided by the New York State Department of Transportation, is 4 feet tall, 6 feet long...
