Officials to host job fair, resume drafting event at Molloy College

Assemb. Brian Curran (R-Lynbrook) and Hempstead Town Senior Councilman Anthony Santino will host their second annual job fair and resume drafting seminar for young adults Friday.

The event will be at Molloy College in Rockville Centre from noon to 4 p.m. The target audience is those between 18 and 30, but the event is open to all ages.

More than 80 businesses and colleges will attend, including the United States Postal Service, the Long Island Rail Road, Robert Half International, Amneal Pharmaceuticals, Cablevision, Winthrop-University Hospital, South Nassau Communities Hospital, Veolia Transportation, Verizon, New York Community Bank, TD Bank and others.

“The outpouring of support from local businesses to help find opportunities for children graduating from high school and college is a testament to the commitment they have to growing and strengthening our community,” Curran said in a statement.

For more information, call Curran’s district office at 516-561-8216.
