Six winning tickets came just short of the Powerball jackpot Wednesday night, increasing tonight's potential take to at least $317 million.

Tickets in upstate New York, Georgia, Indiana, Maine and Nebraska came up as Match 5 winners for a $1 million take Wednesday, but no one hit the final Powerball number. In addition, a Pennsylvania Match 5 winning ticket scored for $2 million after taking the "Power Play" option for $1 extra.

Saturday's Powerball grand prize could wind up even higher, depending on sales. A lone winning ticket for $317 million, if purchased with a lump-sum option, would bring a cash payment of $176.3 million, before taxes. o

According to the Powerball website, $14,638,076 in secondary prizes were won Wednesday night.

The winning numbers in Wednesday night’s drawing were 11-19-33-42-52 and Powerball number 33.
