Freeport Village is seeking proposals to redevelop the long-derelict Plaza West building on Sunrise Highway.

The six-story bank building, near the Freeport Long Island Rail Road station, opened in 1929 and has been vacant since the early 1980s. It was once the tallest building in Nassau and Suffolk counties.
