Recovery expo to be held Saturday for those still suffering from Sandy

The Urban League of Long Island and its corporate partners are hosting The Sandynow.org: Super Storm Sandy Recovery Expo on Saturday, to help Long Island residents still suffering from the storm.

Scheduled for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Long Island Marriott in Uniondale, the expo aims to assist residents with construction, insurance claims, and bank and legal issues. The Urban League said licensed contractors, mental health professionals, financial institutions, grant and loan agencies, community-based organizations and other service agencies will be at the expo.
