Rod Stewart, Bee Gees tributes on Oyster Bay concert bill

The veteran rock group America, a Rod Stewart tribute band, a Bee Gees tribute group and an evening with the Nassau Pops Symphony Orchestra will kick off the Town of Oyster Bay’s “Music Under the Stars” concert series.

America will be performing at John J. Burns Town Park on Merrick Road in Massapequa on July 10.

On July 11, Rick Larrimore will present “The Ultimate Tribute to Rod Stewart” at Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park on Larabee Avenue in Oyster Bay.

On July 13, “A Tribute to the Bee Gees” by the tribute band Stayin’ Alive will be performed at Syosset-Woodbury Community Park at 7800 Jericho Tpke. in Woodbury.

The Nassau Pops Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of conductor/founder Lou Panacciulli, will be at Plainview-Old Bethpage Community Park in Plainview on July 14.

All performances begin at 8 p.m. Residents are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket.
