Saddle Rock's $1.1M budget brings 3.1% tax hike
The Village of Saddle Rock has adopted a $1.1-million budget that increases the tax levy by 3.1 percent for its fiscal year beginning March 1.
The village passed a local law Jan. 4 that allowed it to override the state's new 2 percent cap on property tax levies.
The mayor, Dan Levy, said the tax levy will go up by about $27,000 from the current year. “My 2 percent is $17,000,” he said....
