SCHOOL REPAIRS. The Garden City Village board of trustees meets Thursday at 8 p.m. at Village Hall (351 Stewart Ave.) and is likely to vote on authorizing repairs to the historic St. Paul’s School clock tower face and roof, which were damaged during Tropical Storm Irene. REZONING APPLICATION. The Brookhaven Town board holds a work session Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in Town Hall (1 Independence Hill, Farmingville). Among the issues to be discussed is an application from a Patchogue car dealership for a rezoning that would permit the dealer to expand. Check Sophia Chang’s Twitter updates @schangnewsday.
