Supermarket reps to speak at N. Bellmore forum
The attorney for the developer proposing to build a new supermarket and electrical contractor will be the guest speakers at the North Bellmore Civic Association meeting Monday night.
The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the hamlet’s library, 1551 Newbridge Rd. The meeting room has a capacity of 150 people.
The attorney for North Shore Farms Holdings, LLC, is expected to talk about the North Shore Farms lease of the old Rite Aid building and an upcoming Hempstead Town Board of Appeals hearing. The developer is seeking a special exception for its proposed supermarket greater than 9,300 square feet in an existing building, on 2820 Jerusalem Ave. in North Bellmore. The hearing is scheduled for Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Nathan L.H. Bennett Pavilion, adjacent to Hempstead Town Hall, 1 Washington St. in Hempstead.
