Top Brookhaven development official resigns

Jim Morgo, Brookhaven Town’s economic development coordinator since early 2010, has resigned to focus on his consulting business.
Morgo, 67, has helped the town with projects including the Ronkonkoma Hub transit-oriented development and Carmans River Watershed Protection & Management Plan. He is president of Morgo Private Public Strategies, a consulting firm.
