After spending five days in Smithtown, exploring the neighborhood, getting to know the culture and digging into its rich history, it is now time to say “until next time.”

I’m spending my last day wrapping most things up and checking out those neat spots around town you all told me about. If there’s anything else, let me know.

Later today, you’ll see the historical piece and video on Smithtown I’ve been working on all week.

And make sure you come back this weekend to read a story on Sweetbriar Nature Center’s “Web of Life” program Medford Elementary School students from Patchogue took advantage of.

And at any point, reach out to me via Twitter, email or the comments below.

Thanks for having me, Smithtown. All of you have been so friendly and accommodating. I thank you from the bottom of my heart, and please invite me to come back again.
