Town of Hempstead sets Feb. 11 deadline to pay general taxes

Payments to the Town of Hempstead for the first half of the 2013 general taxes must be received or postmarked by Feb. 11.
Taxpayers can use several payment options offered by the Office of Receiver of Taxes, including extended hours, satellite offices, mobile tax office, drive-through payment window and online payments, officials said.
