West Shore Road repair time shorter

Storm-damaged West Shore Road could be mostly repaired and fully accessible as early as the Fourth of July weekend, two months sooner than originally projected, according to Nassau County officials, who Tuesday said they were trying to accommodate residents and businesses dependent on the Bayville-Oyster Bay hamlet connection.
