Rapper Nicki Minaj says she's not welcome to speak at her alma mater, LaGuardia High School in Manhattan.

Apparently the Hempstead School District would be more than happy to take up that spot on her schedule.

Failed budget helped spur Hicksville homecoming fair success

The Hicksville High School Homecoming Fair -- initially an idea born in the 1980s to compensate the deficit after a failed budget -- is alive and well nearly 30 years later.

When the sun went down on Massapequa’s Peninsula Golf Club, the nine-hole, 57-acre course became a playground for the famous Baldwin brothers.
