Closed Westbury dry cleaners to open again for pickups

The court-appointed receiver of Lewis’ Dry Cleaners in Westbury announced Wednesday that the business will reopen Friday between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. so that customers can pick up their clothes.

The cleaners, at 836 Carman Ave., was recently shut down after the landlord evicted the shop’s owner for nonpayment of his rent.
