The Village of Mastic Beach was incorporated in 2010 and includes several historic sites including the William Floyd Estate, home of Declaration of Independence signer William Floyd. Its shoreline looks out to Narrow Bay and onto Smith Point County Park. It is now part of the Fire Island National Seashore.
