Craig Pinto's story caught the attention of TLC, and the network featured him on Thursday night’s episode of “NY Ink”. Pinto’s family and friends gathered Thursday night to watch Pinto relay his story to artist, Chris Torres, as he had his tattoo completed. (Jan. 5, 2012)

Craig Pinto, 33, of Mineola trained to kick 1,001 field goals inside 24 hours on Oct. 9, 2011 in the hopes of setting a new Guinness World Record. Pinto's goal was to raise money for Celiac Disease, an intestinal disorder he has that requires dietary restrictions and can result in depleted energy levels.
