Planting Fields Arboretum State Historic Park
The 409-acre Planting Fields Arboretum State Historic Park is the former William Robertson Coe estate in Oyster Bay. Coe Hall, the estate's main house, was built in 1920. It was initially operated as a farm and was deeded to New York State in 1949. It now used for horticultural education and is operated by the Planting Fields Foundation. Visitors come for concerts, to walk the trails and take photos of the beautiful gardens and historic buildings.
