Frank Zizzo, 81, of Levittown is crowned King at Long Island's Association of Generational Experts for Seniors' Savvy Senior Day celebration in Plainview. Frank's nomination letter said he dedicates his life to helping others and puts the needs of others before himself, always ready to quietly lend a loving hand without expecting anything in return except for his personal knowledge that someone has smiled because of his efforts. Savvy Senior winners crowned in Plainview

Savvy Senior King and Queen 2013 Frank Zizzo, 81, of Levittown, and Rose Laccone, 90, of Whitestone, Queens, were honored for their commitment to serving their communities at the Association of Generational Experts for Seniors (AGES) Fourth Annual Savvy Senior Day at the Holiday Inn in Plainview. The event was presented one day shy of Grandparents Day. (Sept. 7, 2013)
