The main part of the Westbury Memorial Public Library (also known as “The Adult Library”) opened in 1966. It is located next to the Children’s Library, one of three buildings that form a complex that surrounds a courtyard. The third building is The Cottage, home to the Historical Society of the Westburys and a collection of historical archives and artifacts about the area. (Jan. 30, 2012)
