With additional service, 7 has growing pains
First, the good news. Since last Sunday, the crowded No. 7 line has had more service than ever for the some 450,000 passengers who ride it each day.
The bad news is that the added trains, combined with changes to line operations, and its outdated equipment have caused some serious growing pains this week as service has bogged down, bunched up and left straphangers waiting throughout Queens....
