Man charged with stealing meat from supermarket
It's the case of the purloined sirloins.
A homeless man has been arrested for shoplifting two raw steaks from a Hampton Bays supermarket, Southampton Town Police said.
Robert Noble, 50, took the meat from a King Kullen refrigerator Wednesday around 2:45 p.m. and left the supermarket with the $24.70 steaks, police said.
