Marijuana laws across the U.S.

Marijuana laws across the United States have changed rapidly in recent years. Twenty states and the District of Columbia have legalized medical marijuana, including Colorado and Washington state where recreational pot is available. See which states currently have legal medical and or recreational pot.

Alabama, Florida, Iowa, Kentucky, Mississippi, Tennessee, Utah and Wisconsin all have laws that allow limited access to marijuana products, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures.
