THE BRONX - A memorial Mass was held at St. Raymond's Church in the Bronx for the seven family members who were killed in a crash on the Bronx River Parkway two years ago.
Two grandparents, their two adult daughters and three grandchildren were all killed on April 29, 2012, when the vehicle they were riding in plunged nearly 60 feet off the parkway. The car landed in a part of the Bronx Zoo.
One of the victims, 10-year-old Jaslyn Gonzalez, attended school at the church. Classmates were present at the service.
A memorial to the victims now stands outside the church.
